Death Of Atmore Dentist Under Investigation

(Atmore, AL.) November 23--Authorities are investigating the death of a well known Atmore dentist. Escambia County, Alabama Sheriff investigators tell Local 15 News right now they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Thomas Alvin Rice, Jr., DMD as suspicious.

According to investigators Dr. Rice was found dead in his Nikomis Community home located off Hwy. 31 just before six o'clock Saturday. Authorities say right now they are awaiting the results of an autopsy report before releasing more details.
