(STEVENSON, Ala.) An Alabama appeals court will not stop the removal of the body of a woman laid to rest in her front yard.
The civil appeals court denied James Davis of Stevenson his request to stop the city from moving the grave.
Davis originally ignored the city council's denial of a burial permit and still laid his wife of 48 years to rest beside their front porch in 2009.
