(MOBILE, Ala.) The Mobile City Council approved a performance contract Tuesday for $1.15 million for the GoDaddy.com Bowl.
The council passed the six-year contract to keep the GoDaddy.com Bowl, with only Bess Rich voting no.
City officials say get most of the money back from sponsors.
Arkansas State beat Kent State in this year's GoDaddy.com Bowl 17 to 13.
