(MOBILE, AL.) May 20 -- The Mobile County Sheriff's department wants to make sure you're not a victim of check fraud.
Crooks can get your account information off real checks, print their own fake version and cash them. So you may be wondering, how can you keep from becoming a victim.
You can find out Wednesday when the Sheriff's Department holds a free seminar.
It will focus on educating you on how to discover check fraud.
If you're interested the seminar is from one in the afternoon until five in the evening and its open to the public.
It will be held at the Creola Community Center.
