(MOBILE, Ala.) A local organization is teaming up with law enforcement and medical responders to bury the violence - literally.
It's a processional that even features hearses. It's aimed at getting one message out: to end the violence against law enforcement.
It's an annual event honoring fallen officers... and those who respond to the scene of a crime.
At the end of the processional, the casket will be closed and buried representing their effort to close the lid on violence.
The processional will be this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Folks are meeting at Rodney Funeral Home. You can also line the route to show support.
