(MOBILE, Ala.)    LOCAL 15 News has learned the family of a Kansas couple involved in a deadly traffic accident plans to file suit against the city.

Mary Bragg was left permanently altered by her injuries -her husband of 40 years, Michael Bragg was killed when they were struck by a Mobile police cruiser.

It happened right in front of the Holiday Inn Downtown last summer while the couple crossed the street.

The family says they've asked Mobile Police for information about the investigation, witness statements, even details of Michael's autopsy report - but haven't gotten a response.

The family says Mary's recovery and rehab has amassed over a million dollars in medical bills.

Hey Thompson...you've been a registered user since Dec. 29, 2005 and you have made one comment...shut up, you talk too much!

The multiple comments here between 2 individuals, apparently intended to relate to this tragic event, clearly show that neither of you have anything meaningful to divulge in. Out of indirect respect for parties affected here, it would be most appropriate to keep your unrelated comments to yourselves. Expend energy wisely...Review your absurd, shameful comments.

Hey Oh S**t...Not angry at all but you're still just as stupid this morning as you were yesterday morning. One thing I learned over the years, once a BSer always a BSer, so maybe you're not retired...eat a bran muffin or some prunes. In the meantime, quit deflecting and post your source...if you have one. Now put up or shut up!

Oh longie my my you are an angry man this morning. Hope you did not get 'hold of some bad eggs. I know you're too smart for some of the statments on your post. Hope no one has hacked you. You can be retired and still talk or have lunch with the guys at the plant - OR you can retire from one career and go to work in another - or - well, you get the idea - maybe, maybe not. You a good researcher I guess or try to give that illusion. You can check it out. I'm sure the media will give you access as will the MPD. You just need to get out more. You know the old saying Join the Navy and See the World - well, to paraphrase, Join the World and Leave the House. It's great out here. But as I previouly noted - none of this, nor the fact the couple was breaking a law, albeit minor one, matters - all those involved in this tragic accident will be bearing this burden the rest of their lives - sort of like the chains ole Marley drags around in A Christmas Carol. Question of the day longwillie - what chains are you dragging? They must be heavy indeed for you to be such an angry soul. Take care guy and stay safe. BP you know. Your family needs you.

Hey Oh S**t...you made the claim, back it up or shut up! "The guys at the plant"? You have said on this site you are retired, which is it? You have also previously stated here the accident report as been reported on. The only thing that's a trip is the amount of BS that you exude. Now crawl back into Scam's knee hole.

Oh and longie willie - you might read the morning edition of the PR. That's also one of the things I do each day but don't them hanging around for reference. You might subscribe - you know they bring it right to your house - won't have to venture too far from front door to pick it up. Just saying. Hang in there, it's going to be okay.

Longie you are a trip. Unlike you,(aparently)I dod not have files full of links and random quotes. It was on either 15 at 10 pm last night or 5 at 6 am this morning. FYI that was my viewing schedule for the past 24. With your hound for news I'm sure you can track it down. You really are a trip you know. Never fail to provide the guys at the plant with a real belly laugh. Ever thought about becoming a stand-up deadpan face comic? Oh wait, that would require you to go out into the world. Sorry guy - bad idea. lol Stay safe and watch that BP.

Hey Oh S**t...I see you've finished with Scamual early this morning. Maybe it's possible now that you have time to provide a link, source, date and time of the news report concerning the cop's status...I won't hold my breath though!

Oh longie-must be obsessed with this Fairhope story. Seems you can't stop writing about it even when the media has. BTW if you listened to the news you will know that the policeman involved is back on duty and has been for some time. And, as tragic as this was (I feel for the family), the couple did step out in the middle of the street and were not in the crosswalk so in reality they were jaywalking. This, of course, does not diminish the pain of the family or the police officer who have to live with this the rest of their lives. Longie, willie, try to listen to get up to speed. (BTW - I think you can subscribe to breaking news regarding the Fairhope saga so you can get it immediately on your mobile device. lol)

This is no surprise, I really don't know why it;s taken this long. What was the outcome of the investigation and what happened to the cop? Perhaps if you quit reporting on B.M. Flinger over in Fairhope, you might have time to report real news!
