(MOBILE, Ala.) - Bond was denied Friday morning for the man accused of shooting another man to death at a gas station over the weekend.

Kendramei Jones, 19, was arrested following a short standoff Wednesday.

The victim, Willie Gunn, Jr., was a Blount High School graduate who earned degrees at Troy University and Alabama State.  His family says he was hoping to become a high school teacher.  He was getting gas at the Texaco gas station on St. Stephens Road when he was shot.

Police have not said what they believe the suspect's motive was, or whether the shooting was random.

Denying him Bond is the only way to keep him in jail. The corrupt Bail Bonding Companies will spring him no matter what or how high the Bond is. Example: Recent thug arrested for Armed Robbery, bond set at $50,000.00 and he gets out in the same day. How did this guy come up with (10%)$5,000.00 to give to a Bonding Company? If he has 5 grand he wouldn't be robbing folks. The Bonding companies sign the Bond on a promise he will appear and if he has any assets, whether stolen or not they will accept it in lieu of his Bond. He can front them stolen TV's, stolen jewelry, car title, pets, food stamps, etc to give as collateral. The Lawmakers need to close these loopholes that Bonding Companies are exploiting and using to spring dangerous criminals so they can profit. The Judges know this is going on and that's why this alleged killer was denied Bond.

The police should have just finished the job. Don't waste any time taking him to court. They should have shot him just like he thought he'ed get away with. Don't spend tax payers money on "CRAP" like this.!

What is with all of these ridiculous names? How do they come up with a name like Kendramei? It's almost like their mother sit around before they are born and just starts writing a bunch of dumb sounds. Then they think it cool or something. It only makes them look that much dumber than they already are. It's a running joke in Mobile when the new black baby birth notices come out. No one can pronounce the names because it's so ridiculous. I listed this guys relative names on here too. Amani (my fav!) Nevaeh (my cousin) Lassandra Raven Yajaira (ja-hye-ruh) Dionne Lashara Kya Kionne Kiana Kieara Jaleesa Shavasia Kiasia Dynasia Aisha (not originally black but it has turned out to be) Ashia/Azhia (asia) Chauntel Jamir Devonte Da'Mone (french actually) Deonte Nilo (nee-low) Dayvonn Quantell DeQuan Naquan (Nay-quan) Shaudell (the U is silent)

What you're looking at is the face of EVIL! This kind of animal was created by two people that could care less what they too into society. Chances are we Taxayers paid for his birth, fed him, clothed him, and provided housing all his pathetic life. And what does he give back to society for all these free benefits? MURDERING AN INNOCENT MAN that was trying to educate himself and become a prosperous and productive member of society. It's sad but there is literally millions just like this cretin in America that serve absolutely no positve purpose in society.

He should have been denied bond, then taken directly out and shot just like he did the victim. It's about time the justice system gets tough with these yellow bellied thugs and gives them a dose of their own medicine. We talk about freedom in this country but most of our freedom is compromised at our own door, literally. When you can't go out and buy gas, food, walk for exercise, shop or just be driving down the road minding your own business, without being injured or killed, your freedom is threatened. These bullies need to have an example set before them.
