(GULFPORT, Miss.) A 29 year old Biloxi man has pleaded guilty to a federal gun charge.

U.S. Attorney Gregory Davis tells Daniel Fernell Moore pleaded guilty Monday to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

On Jan. 1, 2012, while responding to a disturbance call in the area of Inez Lounge in Biloxi, Davis says police observed Moore throw a bag out of his vehicle window.

He says that bag contained a loaded .45 caliber pistol. At the time, Moore was on supervised release for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

Moore will be sentenced on April 15.
