BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - The Biloxi City Council has unanimously approved the Biloxi Waterfront Park and devote all the funds to the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum.
The Sun Herald reports the Seafood Industry Museum is $7.4 million and the park is $4.2 million.
The work will begin before the end of the year so the city will not lose FEMA funding for the projects.
The museum and park at Point Cadet are adjacent and connected.
City Attorney Gina Tompkins said Tuesday the site work for the museum is included in the bid for the park.
