MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) Constituents in District 35 have elected a new representative.
Bill Hightower has won the District 35 seat, collecting 64 percent of the votes in Tuesday's run-off election.
Jim Barton got 36 percent of the vote.
Hightower will take over the senate seat vacated by Ben Brooks when he was elected circuit judge.
