(MOBILE, Ala.) Twenty students in Mobile and Baldwin counties received $1,000 scholarships from BayFest.
BayFest hosts a scholarship competition as part of the Music Education Program. For this year's program, the Better Life Foundation, the charitable arm of 3 Doors Down, partnered with BayFest Inc., to provide an additional $10,000 for a total of $20,000 in scholarship funds.
In September, area high school students attended a free one-day immersion session as part of the Music Education Program. They came to learn from music industry entertainers, executives and more.
