(NEW YORK CITY, N.Y.) It's been less than a week since Alabama won the SEC championship game.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban and Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly's teams will face off against each other in the BCS championship game in Miami.
Both coaches were all smiles at the NASDAQ Stock Exchange in New York City.
The huge showdown between Alabama and Notre Dame has everyone talking and the teams will spend plenty of time studying film during their month break.
The Fighting Irish and the Tide are numbers one and two in scoring defense in the country. Both teams have won eight national AP titles between them.
"This is a phenomenal opportunity for our players from both teams. This is sort of an unique matchup, I think, of two universities that have very stories traditions," said Saban.
Kelly was named Home Depot Coach of the Year Wednesday. He has never won a national title. Saban has three.
