GRAND BAY, Ala. (WPMI) Alabama Power crews have restored power to customers in Grand Bay. Officials say transformer issues are to blame.
The company's spokesperson, Beth Thomas, said that as of 9:30 p.m., repairs had been made, and all 930 customers' power was back on.
Thomas says problems with a transformer and a switch were to blame.

Alabama Power officials confirm 900 customers are out of power in Grand Bay due to what officials say seems to be transformer issues.
Beth Thomas with Alabama Power told Local 15 News that crews are on the way to assess the situation.
Thomas said crews will confirm the source of the outage when they are able to investigate further.
Around 7:30 p.m., Mobile County EMS responded to a transformer fire at Potter Tract Road and Highway 90.
Fire crews cleared the scene shortly before 8:30 p.m.
No one was injured, however, traffic was diverted.
No word on when power will get restored to the area.
