(TUSCALOOSA, Ala.) - It's been one wild weekend of college football after another. Just when it appeared Alabama's hopes of another national championship was over, they're back in the title hunt.
A week ago it appeared the SEC's run in the BCS Championship game has run its course, but this is the BCS. There's a reason college football is headed for a playoff in a couple of years. The SEC is never out if it, and Bama has retained control of its destiny.
The official BCS rankings are due out later Sunday evening.
