3 Officers on Paid Leave After Shooting

(ATMORE, Ala.) May 24 - Three Atmore police are on paid administrative leave after a high-speed chase through parts of Alabama and Florida.

Atmore police say the chase started Sunday morning in Atmore when they responded to a shots-fired call that turned into a chase. Police chased the suspect from Atmore, Ala., to Walnut Hill, Fla.

Police say the suspect was shot while trying to flee police.

The three officers involved in the shooting are on paid administrative leave pending investigation into the chase.
