I agree borned - the parents are not always to blame - but haven't you taken the oppostite view along with longie many times? I hope this young lady can get the help she needs - and that the parents can know it's not their fault.

Amanda Childress comes from a very good family. Her Mother and Father and even her Step Dad are some of the best people and hardest working folks in Mobile County. They are at wits end with her, she has been in and out of the Metro jail many times and they don't know what to do with her. They won't bail her out because they don't approve of the way she is living her life. She has a bad drug addiction and needs to be sent to Tutwiler for a few years to straighten her up. She has caused her family much grief and sorrow, they certainly don't deserve the way she has treated her family. She was raised in a loving and caring family and her Brother is the complete opposite of her, being a hard working taxpaying family man. I don't know her personally but I do know her wonderful family and how much trouble and pain she causes them.
