(MOBILE, Ala.) - Eighteen protesters with the Occupy Mobile movement were arrested Tuesday night and charged with third degree criminal trespassing.

As of 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, 10 were still behind bars.

Folks with the movement tell Local 15 News five of those still in jail came over from Pensacola to protest. They say this is causing some issues when it comes to bail.

Occupy Mobile says it's working to get those people out of jail.

The poster that feels their "rights" have been stolen, needs a lesson in the difference between what is a "right" and a "privilege". You do not have the right to a job, having one is a privilege. You do not have the right to own a home or a car, they are privileges. The mental midgets on the left have been brainwashed into believing everything they want is a "right". It's not! You have the "right" to the "PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS"!! If you're too sorry to get off your duff and work for it, you don't deserve it. And one final note. You have the right to peaceable assembly, not lawless mob invasions that violate the rights of others.

You're one misguided person. If corporations don't pay taxes on profits then who writes the tax laws that allow them to get by cheaper? Politicians! If there is a trade imbalance and countries like China have an unfair trade advantage who writes the trade and tariff laws? Politicians! If you hate importing oil into the US and drilling for oil here is wrong then who is writing laws to import more oil and drill less in the US? Politicians! If you think that it's wrong for the taxpayers to bail out banks and financial institutions then who is allowing for that to happen? Politicians! If you're mad because no factories and plants exist inside the US and everything is now imported from places like China, Taiwan, and Mexico because of burdensome regulations and high taxes who caused this? Politicians! Every ill-will and problem in this country today can be easily traced back to Politicians! I find it odd that the protestors blame corporations and big businesses for all the problems and they post Internet messages on devices made by APPLE,DELL,VERIZON, AT&T,SPRINT,etc. These clowns protesting want a handout from the same Government that put them in the position they find themselves in now. These protestors consist of bums, dopers, unemployed, entitlement recipients, tree huggers, enviro-terrorists, gays, and debt ridden college drop-outs, that defecate in parks and streets, throw stuff at the Police, increase cost for cash-strapped cities, assault people, kill people, have criminal records, don't work or pay taxes, and blame everyone else for the problems they created for themselves. I have no sympathy for these morons and they are not to be taken seriously.

The government and corporate America are in bed with one another. If you have a problem with one take a good hard look at the other.Divide and conquer has been working for everyone but the majority of Americans here who have lately seen their quality of life ,and their sense of economic security nose dive.I think we need to find out how many corporations doing business in the state actually pay taxes to the state on the profits they earn here. Occupy Mobile will find a place that they can legally protest.Intimidation and misinformation are not going to make people sit down and be quiet and accept that they can't be given forty hour work weeks because their employers will then have to give them benefits , or that the recession is working for the wealthiest and employers who can now make profits by selling their goods overseas ,.truth is they don't need our middle class anymore. We are in fact quickly becoming their cheap labor... so be mad at the about the marriage protestors if you want but in fact they are the canary in the mine and you would do well to ask questions about the connections between the people in Washington , or the state house, and the people you work for

Corporate America hasn't screwed ANYONE! It's the Politicians that were for sale that screwed America. George Soros, Obama's biggest financial supporter is the man behind the Occupy Movement, he is the guy that is bankrolling Obama and the Democrats. He is an extreme liberal BILLIONAIRE that hates capitalism and Deomcracy. All this Occupy Movement was created as a diversion to take the American peoples mind off the failures of President Obama in the last 3 years as POTUS. It's a calculated move to divide Americans and that way they demonize one half of the American people, then they conquer the other half. Only an idiot would not see all this for what it is. First they condemn corporations and capitalism by protesting against a mere 1% of the American people that are actually BILLIONAIRES. Meanwhile everything they eat, drink, and use daily is made by the same corporations they are protesting against. What a bunch of hypocritical morons that drink the liberal democratic Kool-Aid poured down their throats. Protest for change by voting for someone not already in elected office, there is your protest... your VOTE!

You mean I have been brain washed into believing that we should not be camping over night in public parks that were not meant to be campgrounds? I have no problem with the protests. Just go home at night.

It's a shame that most of you on here are too brainwashed to understand these people are trying to point out the fact that our "RIGHTS" have been sold to the highest bidders. These "kids" and I see older folks and VETERANS among their ranks, are well educated, EMPLOYED, and passionate about their children and their families retaining their rights, their liberty, and their hard earned money. I really think it is sad that you have all been brainwashed to think that corporate america has not screwed us all.

There is a great empty lot on a major highway they can set up at. It is right across the street from the roger williams projects, and three mile creek is right next to it (for bathroom use). Then they could also come in contact with some real poor people, of course it mght get a little strange after dark

Blakely State Park could use some revenue. Go camp there.

hopeful, the park is used by others also. Veterans Day activities are planned later this week. The people trying to camp is the problem, not the protesting. It should be obvious why we can not allow camping in public parks. Society has to have some rules.
