FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WPMI) Fairhope's city council met Tuesday night to name a new police chief. Interim Police Chief Joe Pettis was appointed as Chief of Police.
Former Police Chief Bill Press resigned after the September 11 municipal elections.
The top for candidates for the $80,000 a year job are all from the Mobile and Baldwin County area:
