Guilty Verdict in Ian Aitcheson Trial

(BAY MINETTE, Ala.) - A Baldwin County jury has found Ian Aitcheson guilty of murder in the death of his father, Bob.

Bob Aitcheson was stabbed to death and set on fire in his home in Silverhill last January. 

Jurors decided to convict Aitcheson of murder rather than capital murder.  That means he will face the possibility of life in prison, but not the death penalty.

He was also found guilty of 1st degree arson.

His sentencing is scheduled for May 20th.
