I forgot to add that this is also a real world example as to why everyone lawfully capable of owning and carrying a firearm should do so. IT'S ALSO A REAL WORLD EXAMPLE OF WHY YOU SHOULD ALWAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED AND NEVER THINK A GIVEN SITUATION IS GOING TO GO DOWN LIKE THE PREVIOUS SITUATIONS OF THIS NATURE. I always assume that everyone is armed and act accordingly. Especially those I think shouldn't be armed but may be. I watch them like a hawk, take care of my business, and leave that particular area, store, or business without hanging around to lollygag. I ought to offer a course in victim prevention as I'm pretty damn good at it these days.

Well DUH! Captain Obvious states the very reason gun control does not work. Criminals do not abide by the laws that those of us who do. Real world example right here for all of you mentally ill liberals to examine.
