(MOBILE, Ala.) A woman is charged after hitting and killing another woman in the street.
It happened near the intersection of Theodore Dawes and Helton Road just before three Thursday morning.
43-year-old Alison Collier of Milton, Florida was transported to Providence Hospital where she died. Collier was a passenger in another car and had gotten out before being hit.
21-year-old Hailey Howard has been booked in Mobile Metro Jail and charged with manslaughter.
Police believe alcohol was a factor.
