Two Robberies in One Hour, Police Searching for Suspects

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Mobile Police are looking for suspects in two separate afternoon robberies over the weekend.

The first happened Saturday, February 2, around 3:15 p.m. on Michael Boulevard. The victim told police a suspect followed him to his apartment, pulled out a gun and demanded his money.

Police say the suspect fired one shot before taking off. No one was injured.

About an hour later, two women reported they were robbed at gunpoint in the middle of the street at McKinley Road and 6th Avenue.

The women told police they stopped their car on the side of the road when a man, armed with a gun, came from behind and demanded everything from the women.
