Latest Forecast Discussion:

Don't forget your umbrella today, it's going to be a gloomy and damp day with scattered showers across the eastern half of the viewing area, with an inch or two of rain possible by day's end.  A front is sliding through along with an area of low pressure and those two components will keep a steady stream of moisture in our region.  The air mass will remain unstable throughout the day but we'll see a break in this pattern tomorrow as that system moves out.  Sunshine returns on Wednesday, then a warm front lifts northward tomorrow night and Thursday bringing a second round of rainstorms this week. Temps will creep up as well with daytime highs in the 80s by the end of the workweek. Another round of wet weather comes Friday.  For Halloween, only a few isolated showers are in the forecast primarily during the morning hours!
Tropics:

No tropical cyclone development is expected through Wednesday.
