(MOBILE, Ala.) Gerard Pruitt, 17, was arrested late Tuesday night and charged with robbery.

Police say he and another man would put items up for sale on Craiglist for extremely cheap prices. When a person came to buy the item, police say, Pruitt and his accomplice would rob them.

The second suspect has not been named or arrested.

What do you know he is still in jail...That is a shocker. His mug is featured along with the other 1701 thug, robber, drunk, druggie, worthless people at metro jail. I can tell you this, about 4-5 months ago the staggering number of people in jail was around 1,400-1,450 people per day. The number is way up... and will only continue to climb if people don't start taking back their property and their city. Come together people of all races. Make a stand

Obviously being 17 years old he did not own the house where the robbery took place. I intend to see if he has already been released. With that cross tattoed on his head he should not be hard to miss. Where were his parents!!Drug test for welfare and start now because I guarentee this good for nothing thug is only a year away from drawing it him self.

"there ain't no Crime in Mobile" that's a direct quote from the Mobile Mayor himself who at present time is on his 2nd Taxpayer funded Vacation to Miami in a year. So there must be a mistake here.

Ironic, he has a cross on his forehead but yet, he's robbed people. What a waste of good, breathable air.

i am not saying getting robbed is right, but what i will say is there are some risks involved with a DEAL TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.. with that said, make an example out of him or there will be a whole new crop of these ROCKET SCIENTISTS POSTING ADS ON CRAIGSLIST!

He can go to jail and get his GED. Then with his creative thinking and his ability to rise above it all he can get a football scholarship to Auburn. All the yongsters in the hood can look up to him. And when he finishes his pro-football career, if he stays out of jail, he can get caught selling drugs. Wow.
