Teacher Accused of Growing Marijuana
(JACKSON COUNTY, Miss.) Nov. 19 - A St. Martin High School teacher was arrested Wednesday night and accused of growing marijuana in his home.
Patrick Charles Walker, 51, a teacher at St. Martin High School, was taken into custody after a search of his home revealed marijuana plants and materials used to grow marijuana including ultraviolet lights, fertilizers and fans, investigators said.
Walker was charged with one count of cultivation of marijuana. If convicted, he faces a fine of up to $1 million and a up to 30 years in prison.
