Surveillance Video Helps Nab Suspected Thief

SARALAND, Ala. (WPMI) Saraland Police Department arrested Sarah J. Andrews on suspected theft of property.  Andrews, who was also known as Sara Steele, was charged with the theft of property in the second degree.

Andrews was caught on a surveillance video stealing a purse from a local business, officials said. Investigators received tips identifying Andrews in the video.

Saraland Police issued a statement thanking the media for airing the photo and the public for their quick response.
