When I was a kid in Kentucky, snow was a reason to pull out the sled. We all had one. But in 22 years of living here in South Alabama, I've never seen one. I'm was sure they would have one at Bass Pro Shop in Spanish Fort. I found plenty of snow clothes but no sled.

But there is a contingent of people here on the coast who have had their fill of winter's wonderland. Pat Searle is a transplant from Michigan. "Yeah, and I'm gonna stay off the road because people don't know how to drive on 'em."
So get out your shovels and plows, people. Snows a'comin! Somewhere.
