(MOBILE, Ala.) - Local high school girls can head to Bel Air Mall Saturday to pick out a free prom dress.
The mall has collected more than 600 gently used formal dresses in good condition to giveaway at the Pretty in Pink Boutique-Prom Dress Exchange from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Girls must show a valid school ID or provide proof of enrollment. The dresses will be located outside the mall's main entrance next to Henig Furs.
The Interact Club at St. Paul's Episcopal School helped collect dresses and will be on hand to help girls pick out their favorite.
Remaining dresses will be donated to Penelope’s Closet to benefit the Penelope House.
