(MALBIS, Ala.) Nov. 17 -- Officials with Riviera Utilities say a power outage Tuesday morning left about 1,500 customers in the dark on the Eastern Shore. Power has been restored.
About 1,500 customers in the Malbis, Daphne, Spanish Fort area were without power for a couple of hours Tuesday.
Officials say they experienced problems with a faulty transmission system at the Malbis substation that’s affecting other substations in the area.
