WILMER, Al. (WPMI) A Sunday night fire destroyed a home in Wilmer. We're told not much was left. It happened in the 4900 block of Christopher Road near Moffett.
Last week firemen checked hydrants to ensure they were working after a fire last weekend destroyed another home that sat next to an inoperable hydrant. No word if a broken hydrant played a factor in this fire. The investigation is ongoing and we'll have more later today.
