Mobile Co. Deputies Investigating Meth Lab after Car Fire

UPDATE 4:20PM: The Mobile County Sheriff's Office confirms that they are investigating a car fire Friday morning as a meth lab. They say no one has been charged because all of the evidence was destroyed in the fire. The passenger of the car told deputies they believed the driver was cooking meth.

(MOBILE, Ala.) - Fire crews were putting out a truck fire that left one person injured early Friday morning.

It happened in the 7700 block of Jo Ella Road in Mobile County.

A fire official on the scene told Local 15 the fire started in relation to a meth lab.

We have not heard from the Mobile County Sheriff's office, but we will keep you updated as we work to find out more.
