Man Arrested after Four Hour Standoff

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) Mobile Police arrested a man after a four hour standoff that lasted into early Friday morning.

U.S. Marshals were on the hunt for Rodney Waldrop on terroristic threat and stalking charges, among others. They found Waldrop hiding in a home on Hyland Avenue around 10:30 Thursday night.

U.S. Marshals called Mobile Police for backup. More than four hours later, Waldrop was arrested and taken to Metro Jail.

He's charged with criminal tampering, terroristic threats, aggravated stalking and property damage.

No injuries were reported during the standoff.
