(Mobile, Ala.) - Mobile Police are investigating one of its own. As we first reported Tuesday, Local 15 News has confirmed Third Precinct Captain Dewayne Hill is under investigation. Police Chief Micheal Williams declined to say what prompted the investigation, but two sources say there are questions about cash and credit cards purchases. And we're also learning about an incident that happened in September where Hill was asked to leave a football game.

Sources at the September 14th game where LeFlore took on Faith Academy say Hill, while he was in his police uniform, was cussing on the sideline and acting aggressive. He was asked to leave by game referees. Hours later sources say, Hill sent four patrol cars to a parking lot where fans had gathered and ordered them to leave.

People who witnessed this declined to talk on camera. The police department also declined to comment.

Two sources say this investigation does not involve the Sept 14th incident. Rather, the probe is into questionable credit card transactions and questionable use of cash designated for the Explorers Program. Williams said the investigation does not deal with theft and would not say why Hill is being investigated.

"At this point. I will not divulge that, but I will confirm that we are conducting an investigation," said Williams after Tuesday's city council meeting.

Personnel records show Hill has been with the department since 1992 and has not had any disciplinary action in recent history.

Local 15 News was unable to reach Hill for comment.

"Hill, ... was in his police uniform, was cussing on the sideline and acting aggressive." --I'm going to take a guess here and surmise that Hill is black. This is typical behavior for that demographic. And it doesn't take anything really to set them off as most of us know. If I'm wrong I'm sure I'll be duly and promptly corrected. Since I can find no pictures of 'Hill' I think my educated guess is accurate.
