(MOBILE, Ala.) - The LOCAL 15 team is coping with a loss inside our own family. Our Vice President and General Manager Bob Dunn passed away suddenly Tuesday night.
In a short period of time, Bob made an amazing impact here, setting into motion a culture and work ethic we all admired. Bob steered this television station onto a positive course.
Our future success will be a reflection of his vision and hard work.
Bob worked in Mobile for a decade before moving to stations in Memphis and Little Rock. He returned to Mobile with his family, where he could once again cheer on his beloved Crimson Tide.
Our company's Vice President of Operations Michael Dipasquale said it best, "We are shocked and deeply saddened with Bob's passing. He was a valuable member of the Newport Television family, but more importantly, he was a wonderful person, an absolute gentleman and a great family man."
Bob leaves behind his wife, Nancy, and their two children Bobby and Kelly. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
