(LOXLEY, Ala.) July 1 -- These tough economic times are even putting a damper on celebrating our nations independence.
The annual fireworks display in Loxley has been canceled this year because of financial issues in the town. The display is usually held at municipal park.
No word on if the town will bring back the display for next year.
