(PRICHARD, Ala.) - Family, friends and fellow officers are gathered at Sunlight District Auditorium in Prichard to pay their respects to fallen Officer Steven Green.

Officer Green was stabbed to death by a robbery suspect on Friday at Metro Jail. Hundreds came out on Tuesday for Green's wake and visitation at Radney Funeral Home.

Following today's funeral services, a 20-mile procession will take place all the way to Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, where Officer Green will be laid to rest.

The public is invited to line the procession route. Officials say just to be cautious.

There will be a large American flag, held by two ladder trucks, on Government Boulevard at Knollwood Drive. There will also be about 50 smaller American flags leading up to the large flag.

If you can't make it out, the city is asking drivers today to leave their headlights on to show respect to Officer Green's family.
