(MOBILE, Ala.) A foundation helping in the search for a missing teenager is asking hunters for their assistance.
Brittney Wood disappeared back in May. She said she was going to visit her uncle. That uncle killed himself two days later.
The KLAAS Kids Foundation has been helping with the search since June. The foundation, along with Brittney's mother, are asking hunters to be on the lookout for any signs of Brittney.
This will be the first Christmas Brittney's mother, Chessie, will be spending without her daughter.
"I have my baby's picture all over my Christmas tree. That's how I get to spend this Christmas with Brittney," says Chessie. "There's people I do believe that has knowledge of Brittney's disappearance. Please, please come forward and tell me where my baby is."
KLAAS Kids says it has conducted 41 separate searches from Grand Bay to Robertsdale.
Anyone with information on the disappearance of Brittney Wood is asked to call police.
