(MOBILE, Ala.)   Local 15 News cameras were rolling Saturday night as Mobile police searched the home of murder suspect Tevin Wells, one of three accused of robbing and killing USA student Andrew Saxon on Jan. 12 near campus.

Detectives executed the search warrant at his home on Druid Drive in Mobile shortly after he was arrested, police say. Detectives carried out boxes of evidence and what appeared to be a shotgun. Police would not say whether they have recovered the suspected murder weapon in the case.

Christopher Case, 26, and Quinten Godfrey, 21, have also been arrested and charged with the murder. Investigators believe one of the suspects knew Saxon, and that all three planned and carried out the armed robbery at Saxon's home. Somehow during the process, Saxon was fatally shot in the chest and found dead in his next door neighbor's car port.

Saxon's home is directly across the street from the USA campus.

According to court records, Godfrey was arrested for carrying a gun without a license in September 2010.

Well, they will probably get off light with murder. They had all better be thankful they weren't stopped for an expired tag....they would go to jail for sure.
