MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) The GoDaddy.com Bowl game was Sunday night at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Some fans got the party started with tailgating a little bit earlier.

Arkansas State and Kent State faced off.

Arkansas State was back for their second straight GoDaddy.com Bowl. Last year they fell short so they are hungry for more this go around.

For Kent State, this is their first bowl game in 40 years.

Kent State fans drove 15 hours, and around 1,000 miles for the game. But the prize for the longest trip goes to an Arkansas State couple who lives in Seattle.

"We got out here and it was raining this morning, and we just played through it. You got to play through the pain and the rain," Ken Stuart, Arkansas State fan, said.

"We're from Ohio. This is nothing, you know. We left snow for this. The last time we were in a bowl game was like over 40 years ago. We may not get this chance again to be here," said Kent State fans, the Nester family.
