MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI)   An elderly couple visiting a grave site ended up getting carjacked.

It happened just after 2p.m. Monday afternoon at the Old Catholic Cemetery off of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue.

Mobile Police say two men, one armed with a gun, approached the couple while they were paying their respects.

They demanded keys and then took off in the couple's vehicle.

The stolen impala was later located in the old Orange Grove area at Joachim Street.

Cemetery officials say the area is safe.

"Mobile Police patrol the cemetery," said Robert Overmeyer of Old Catholic Cemetery. "This was an isolated incident and the cemetery is safe."

There were no reported injuries.

The suspects are still on the loose.

Police are still investigating this case.
