MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) Two men were arrested after police say they stabbed another man over a dog.

It happened at a home on John Shinn Road Tuesday evening. Officials say Mike Jarman and Corey Weaver stabbed John Bliss multiple times in the back and arms.

The Sheriff's Office said Jarman called deputies hours before the incident to file a complaint against Bliss for allegedly stealing his pitt bull. They say Bliss went to Jarman's home on John Shinn Road to visit his girlfriend and chlildren, and that's when he was stabbed.

Bliss is listed in critical condition at a local hospital.

Jarman and Weaver are charged with first degree assault.
