MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) The Carnival cruise ship that is dead in the Gulf of Mexico will be towed to the Cruise Terminal in Mobile. Tuesday, Cruise Terminal officials held a news conference to talk about the ordeal.

Four thousand travelers will be in the Port City come Thursday. The terminal manager expects the massive ship to come in from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

It's been a year since the terminal was used, but the manager said it won't be a problem.

The Carnival Triumph will be the largest ship the terminal has ever taken in. It's 44 feet longer with 300 more passengers than the biggest ship they've ever had to deal with.

The terminal is hiring up to 100 personnel, including security guards, and making quick improvements to make the facility ready to use.

Mobile Infirmary is even stepping in to provide medical support.

If you're White you need not apply for any of these temp jobs. Old Sam probably called his friend at minority-owned Bay Security Company and told them that a cash cow is approaching from the south via the Gulf of Mexico.
