Court Releases Affidavit in Alleged MGM Teacher, Student Relationship

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) A Mary G. Montgomery High School school teacher is facing charges of sexual misconduct. Thursday, Local 15 News obtained an affidavit detailing what the teacher and student say happened.

The search affidavit is a he said-she said account of what is alleged to have happened between the a 14-year-old student and 28-year-old math teacher Alicia Gray.

Gray turned herself in to Mobile Police Monday, February 25. She is facing sodomy and sexual abuse charges.

During a meeting with the MGM principal and a counselor, the affidavit says Gray admitted to inappropriate text messages between the two., messages she admitted could lead someone to believe that there had been inappropriate contact.

Gray said she had deleted those messages from her Facebook account and his, because she had the student's login information. In the affidavit, she also admitted to hugging the 14-year-old student, buying him lunch and frappuccinos.

The students told sheriff's investigators that he and the teacher did have inappropriate contact over Facebook, that there was kissing and hugging both on and off campus.

Some people should be barred from ever being around children, like this predator. What makes people do this? There is absolutely nothing that a 14 year old can have or even offer a 28 year old that an adult can't unless it ther innocence. If found guilty this person should be sent to Tutwiler for 20 years minumum.
