(ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WPMI) A man and his girlfriend are behind bars after deputies say they severely abused the man's 3-year-old daughter.
Andrew Gonzalez and Kristine Belanger are charged with child cruelty and neglect.
Deputies in Escambia County, Florida say the girl was severely burned in the shower and went two days without medical treatment.
Relatives say it was an accident.
The child is at a hospital in Gainesville.
