Car Crashes Into Downtown Fairhope, Ala., Store

FAIRHOPE, Ala. (AP) - A downtown Fairhope storefront is in tatters after a car crashed into it on Saturday night.
   
Witnesses said that the accident could be heard two blocks away.
   
The CK Collection storefront on Fairhope Avenue was damaged when a car crashed into it following an accident.
   
The owner of the store told the station an SUV backed into a car, shoving it over a curb and into the store, breaking the glass façade and damaging a pole and awning.
