(PRICHARD, Ala.) The doctors have given up, but a brave little 2-year-old is not letting cancer get her down.
Victoria Pettway has liver, lung and brain cancer.
Doctors have put her on hospice care, but this weekend, you can help brighten her spirits.
There's a party planned in Prichard to show support for Victoria and her family.
In September, Victoria suffered a seizure and was then diagnosed with brain cancer. Doctors then told the family there was nothing more they could do for her.
But, the family has hope for her full recovery.
"We will let go and let God. That's all we can do. We are a family that prays, we know the power of God," says Tyrone Pettway, Victoria's Uncle.
Saturday the community is invited to come out for a celebration of Victoria's life.
A party will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Williams Clark Family Life Center in Prichard.
Everyone is invited to come and wear red, to show support for Victoria.
If you'd like to help the family, there is a benefit account set up for Victoria Pettway at any Compass Bank Branch.
