SELMA, Ala. (AP) - Six young people have been arrested in Selma over an online video showing a lone teen boy being attacked by a gang.

Selma police told WAKA-TV that one 18-year-old and five juveniles face felony charges of compelling gang membership.

District Attorney Michael Jackson called the videotaped beating "a sad situation" and "a stark reminder" of what's going on in Selma.

The video shows the lone teen boy being surrounded by a group of teens. One of the teens punches the victim several times and then other teens join in the assault.
