2 Probable Cases of Swine Flu in Alabama

(MONTGOMERY, Ala.) April 29 - The Alabama Department of Health announced Wednesday evening that there are two probable cases of swine flu in the state.

The probable cases were detected in two children in Madison, Alabama. Health officials have recommended that the school those children attend, Heritage Elementary School, be closed for seven days.

Health officials say it is likely there will more cases of swine flu around the state. Earlier Wednesday, officials reported that eight patient samples tested, including at least one sample from a patient in Baldwin County, came back with negative results.
