(MIAMI)   Two Alabama players have been suspended from the BCS National Game trip.

Ryan Anderson and Dillon Lee, both freshman linebackers, were sent home for curfew violation.

Alabama coach Nick Saban issued a brief statement confirming the dismissal of a pair of unidentified players.

The Crimson White student newspaper first identified the two players. Anderson is from Daphne, Lee is from Buford, Ga.

Anderson has not seen the field for Alabama.

Lee, a four star prospect coming out of high school, appeared in eight games for the Tide this season.

Neither were expected to play much of a role for the tide in Monday night's championship game.
