Nearly 6-Million U.S. Children Have Food Allergies

A new survey finds nearly six million children in the U.S. have food allergies.

More than a third of those children have a history of severe allergic reactions.

Another third are allergic to multiple foods.

Peanuts, milk and shellfish are the most common foods kids are allergic to.

African American and Asian children were more likely to have food allergies.

Families with low incomes were less likely.
